Glastonbury is considered a powerful healing place for Divine Feminine energy due to its deep connections with Goddess spirituality and ancient wisdom. The Glastonbury Goddess Temple, a dedicated space for honoring the Goddess, represents a modern-day reclaiming of the feminine divine. Known as the Isle of Avalon, Glastonbury is believed to hold strong Earth energies, particularly through sacred sites like Glastonbury Tor and the Chalice Well, symbolizing feminine mysteries. This mystical landscape, rich with feminine symbolism, creates a transformative environment for retreats dedicated to awakening and empowering the Divine FeminineVisiting the Sacred Sites of Glastonbury
As well as holding transformative Kundalini Goddess Ceremonies as part of the Glastonbury retreat, a magical part of the The Kundalini Goddess Retreat are the visits to the sacred sites, where you can receive powerful energy and healing from the land.Pilgrimage and the Tor
Our journey begins with a walk to the Tor on the evening of arrival. The Tor rises majestically above the Somerset landscape, crowned by the iconic St. Michael’s Tower. The hill has been compared to the goddesses pregnant womb. I feel the Tor energy like the heart, it’s a powerful energy which shifts and purifies, just by being on the land you will receive deep healing. Glastonbury is known as the heart chakra of the world. It is believed to embody the heart chakra, a center for love, compassion, and emotional balance. The Tor is a focal point for spiritual energy, amplified by its association with the St. Michael ley line—a powerful energy line that connects several sacred sites across the country. This ley line embodies a strong masculine energy, associated with protection, transformation, and connection to higher consciousness. The presence of St. Michael’s Tower at the Tor’s peak strengthens this energy, creating a place where visitors often report feeling a heightened spiritual awareness and connection to the divine. The heart chakra connection in Glastonbury is often felt in the palpable sense of peace and acceptance that pervades the area. As soon as I arrive in Glastonbury I feel a huge sense of comfort, like returning home. We open the retreat on the Tor and I hold a guided meditation. It is east to feel a deep sense of love and unity when spending time at the Tor.Chalice Wells and Bathing in the White Springs
A highlight of the retreat is our visits to Chalice Well and the ancient healing baths of the White Spring. The Chalice Well and the White Spring at the base of Glastonbury Tor are profound symbols of sacred union, where the divine masculine and divine feminine energies coalesce in perfect harmony. I feel these waters create a sacred union – like Jeshua and Mary Magdelene; the two sacred springs complement each other, individually unique but collectively creating an energy of wholeness. These waters, flowing side by side, are rich in spiritual symbolism, each representing complementary yet distinct energies that together create a powerful healing force. The Red and White Springs: A Sacred Dance
The Chalice Well is known for its rich, iron-laden red waters, symbolizing the divine feminine—the life-giving, nurturing essence of creation. This wellspring is said to carry the qualities of blood, representing life, fertility, and the deep, nurturing embrace of the Earth Mother. It is revered as a site for contemplation, renewal, and spiritual rebirth. The sacred red waters invite reflection, connecting those who drink or bathe in them to their heart’s intuition and inner wisdom. In contrast, the White Spring, with its milky, calcium-rich waters, embodies the divine masculine—strength, structure, and the grounding power of protection and purity. These waters are associated with clarity, spiritual fortitude, and the essence of cleansing and purification. Flowing from the depths of Glastonbury Tor, the White Spring exudes a cooling, stabilizing energy, often linked to the light of the moon and the spirit of divine guardianship.Chalice Wells and the Sacred Feminine Path
Set in beautiful, lush gardens, Chalice Well has a palpable feminine energy. With the sweet smell of wild flowers, blossoming trees and gently flowing water, chalice wells breaths life. the energy is soft, nurturing, creative and harmonious. On the retreat great group connections are made here. We connect to the unconditional love of Mary Madelene and unwavering support of sisterhood. This sacred spring, with its iron-rich red waters, embodies the nurturing and life-giving qualities of the feminine. Associated with the myths of the Holy Grail and the goddess traditions, the Chalice Well is often viewed as a portal to the sacred womb of the Earth Mother. Its waters symbolize blood—the essence of life, vitality, and rebirth—inviting those who visit to connect with their intuition, creativity, and emotional depth. This well offers a place of renewal and inspiration, encouraging healing through gentleness, compassion, and unconditional love. As visitors draw near, many feel the powerful embrace of this feminine energy, which soothes the soul, inspires reflection, and revitalizes the spirit.Divine Masculine Healing at the White Springs

The proximity of these two springs creates a powerful energetic balance, symbolic of the sacred marriage between the masculine and feminine. This union represents the ancient concept of hieros gamos, or the holy marriage, which merges dualities to birth wholeness and unity. It is believed that the combination of these waters facilitates profound spiritual healing, fostering a state of inner harmony and divine equilibrium. Many visitors to the area come to experience the union of these energies first-hand, drawn by stories of transformation, emotional release, and awakening. The intertwined flow of the red and white springs acts as a catalyst for aligning one’s internal masculine and feminine aspects, promoting both a nurturing embrace of the self and a foundation of strength and clarity. This fusion invites pilgrims to balance their nurturing and assertive traits, empowering them to live with greater wholeness and authenticity. An Invitation to Personal Reflection
