Awakening the Seeds of Light • Honouring Imbolc • Gathering in Sacred Ceremony on the Full Moon
As the Wheel of the Year turns, Imbolc arrives as a sacred threshold — the quiet promise of spring stirring beneath the earth. On February 1st, i’m holding a ceremony for us to come together and honour this time of gentle awakening, transition towards light, renewal, and hope. This event also coincides with a powerful firey full moon on Leo.
“I am the quickening, I am the serpent uncoiling, I am Imbolc. I am the dream of awakening.” (Caroline Mellor)
Imbolc is a time of purification, blessing, and intention. A time to tend the inner flame, to listen deeply, and to plant the seeds of what we are ready to grow in the months ahead. Ruled by the Goddess Brigid, this festival invites creativity, healing, devotion, and the gentle return of hope.
You are warmly invited to come together in community to honour the returning light within yourself, within the land, and within the collective.
This is an open-hearted, community-led gathering — all are welcome.
We will begin with a soft, grounding meditation to cleanse and clear the old, followed by heart-opening chanting to awaken our inner fire. Ceremonial cacao to those that wish to partake, will be shared as we drop into presence and intention, and I will guide a simple yet powerful Imbolc blessing ritual, supporting renewal, clarity, and fresh beginnings.
Cocoa & Candle Flame
Each person is invited to bring a food offering to share, honouring Imbolc as a time of nourishment and communal warmth. We will gather around candlelight — symbolising Brigid’s flame — offering our prayers, intentions, and blessings to the returning light.
